Current Technology Trends in ICT

I Hope Green Computing is Recent Trends in ICT That Will Transform Our World in 2018

What is Green Computing?

Green Computing is the activities computers in an environmentally friendly manner with green computing. You get to save energy as well as money. You get to reduce waste and global warming, one company that practices green computing with Mary Rose Loria  hi mark incorporated is a healthcare company based in Pennsylvania. It's data center is made up of 100% recycled materials instead of using fast the cool. It's data center it has a tap that collects rainwater and that cools the data center hi mark also recirculates air to keep temperatures down. There are many ways you can practice green computing.
It's easy and not that expensive. One way would be to switch from desktops to laptops , laptop sees
a significantly less amount of energy than desktops and plus . They are portable and a lot lighter .
Another way would be to power down your computers or desktops when not in use put them on power
saving mode, also you can put a car in sleep or hibernate mode .When you have a old electronic devices
that you don't need anymore or e-waste don't just throw them away in a normal trash bin or let them
rot anywhere have to make sure that they're disposed properly because these electronic devices contain
very very toxic materials that can potentially harm the earth and one day even you and your health a
good way would be to send these old electronic devices to a recycling plant. Where they can be
made into a new different product. And look at yourself and think about how you can help the world.
A simple active change can help so much.

5 Tips For Green Computing

It is needed to find a way to handle computers and its devices for save the

environment and society from such E-hazards.

Why we need Green Computing?

Did you know ! The worldwide number of PC's in use  surpassed 1.4B units in 2010. And will top 2.1B units by year end 2015. In 2011 alone the worldwide sales of MOBILE PC's are projected to reach. This means that more and more COMPUTERS cause the the unnecessary production of  greenhouse gases every year . Information technology's contribution to GHG is more than 2%. And emissions tied to computers are comparable to the GHG being produced by all the world's airplanes. Millions of computers that are not properly shut down cause billions of dollars of wasted electricity costs. In U.S. companies alone more than 1 billion dollars a year is wasted on electricity for computer monitors, that are turned on when they shouldn't be. In the philippines business corporations, organizations, and households can save energy consumption by turning off and unplugging computers when not in use. By doing this computer-users could generate significant savings in electricity costs, save thousands of watts of power, and reduce production of GHG. So that's the cause why we need green computing.

How we should apply Green Computing ?

There are many fruitful ways to kick-start green computing usage, but one should always make sure it is being implemented in the right manner. Finding the right resources, accessing them properly and making sure it’s moving towards the right front, is very important.
So, let's learn about apply Green Computing !
1. Buy energy efficient computers.
2. Buy hardware appropriate for the job.
3. Replace a CRT monitor with on LCD monitor.
4. Turn off your computer when you will not be using it for several hours.
5. Print smarter.

Ultimately it’s the humanity for which green computing is being procured for. Securing the future of upcoming generations will be the ultimate result of using green technology. As time will fly by the resources will automatically start to perish. In order to keep the life cycle intact and running, we need to take some outrageous steps. It all depends on how and when different economies around the globe start seeing this as a great aid to the future of humanity.
